One of the best Halloween movies ever made is Halloween. It was one of horror movie auteur John Carpenter’s earliest works, and it sparked a series of movies that are still being produced.
Michael Myers starts it off by killing his sister on Halloween when she was watching him. Years later, he escapes from the mental hospital and returns to terrorize other babysitters.
One of Our Favorite Halloween films is The Shining (1980)
Friday the 13th (1980)
The first movie about Jason, a serial killer who wears a hockey mask, is Friday the 13th. In the first tale, a group of camp counselors is pursued by a psychotic killer as they attempt to reopen a summer camp that has been shut down. It’s one of the best scary Halloween movies thanks to its many unexpected scenes, graphic violence, and surprising conclusion.

One of our favorite Halloween comedies is The Addams Family. The popular TV show, which was based on a comic book, served as the inspiration for the 1991 movie.
It’s primarily humorous and entertaining, but there’s just enough scary material to keep youngsters interested, as with all good Halloween movies for kids. The Addams Family, a typical yet odd family that doesn’t quite belong in suburbia, is the subject of the film.
